The new UBT hangar was constructed during the latter half of 2008, and the big day of the hangar move took place on Thursday 25th September 2008.
We continued operations throughout the building of the new access road which made for some interesting tow-outs of gliders around the edge of the construction site!
Once the new hangar was completed, the gliders and other equipment were moved over in one day. The old hangar was then dismantled and removed within a few days of the move, leaving behind just the concrete base.
There are many jobs still to do in and around the new hangar but we are largely settled in the new location and operating normally once again.
